Safe restoration
Leave room to grow
Return to open ground before restoring your original size. A low ceiling or nearby solid blocks can prevent safe growth. The same clearance rules apply whether the target is a player or an animal.
Paid ray restoration
Open Secondary, choose RESTORE ORIGINAL, then use SELF or close the panel and fire at the intended living target. A successful restoration costs one crystal. Blocked growth refuses without charge or pauses until space becomes available.
Free emergency self recovery
Use the native chat command:
/shrinkium restore
It restores only yourself and works without a ray or crystals. When the current space cannot hold your original size, the mod can use its checked saved pre-shrink position in the same world, if that location is still loaded and safe. It does not teleport through to an arbitrary world or guarantee recovery at an unsafe anchor.
Move clear when possible, keep the world backup and report a refused recovery with the terrain conditions. Do not force growth by repeatedly firing into a blocked space.
Saved state and the current visibility issue
Normal saving-world reload has retained the original baseline, selected size and current miniature scale in native checks. Broader lifecycle and multiplayer checks remain unfinished. Use a world that actually saves players.
After free restoration the held ray may disappear even though it remains in the hotbar. Select another hotbar slot and then select the ray again. This recovers the visible model in the observed case; the underlying camera/held-item issue is still open. Avoid removing the mod while entities remain miniature.
