Your first factory bay

Your first factory bay

Build a first loading bay with the factory kit.

  1. Obtain 8 Iron Ingots and 4 Copper Ingots through the base game’s material progression. Bring them to a standard Workbench.
  2. Open its crafting category and make one Foundry Workbench. Place it with space for its wide top and tool board.
  3. Open the new bench. Its five tabs organise the full collection.
  4. Bring 8 more Iron Ingots to the Floors tab and craft the Riveted floor plate twice. Each craft produces four plates, giving eight blocks for a small loading bay.
  5. Add a Safety edge floor at its entrance, then add catwalks, a shutter or lighting as your layout grows. Use the recipe table to budget the additional materials.

The factory bench has no fuel slot or power connection. Crafting uses your inventory through Hytale’s normal crafting interface.

Place blocks with the normal block-placement input. Use the displayed rotation control before placing directional pieces. Keep the whole preview clear: large assemblies reserve more than their anchor cell.

Mechanical controls use the game’s Use action, shown as F with the default controls. Doors, shutters, the hatch and lights toggle through their saved states. The player who placed an assembly owns its mechanical controls and removal. Other players can use the crafting bench. Multiplayer was included in player testing.

For a raised walkway, start with a one-block stair flight, add a both-rail catwalk at the landing, and use corner sections where the walkway turns. Keep a hatch opening clear below and leave the full shutter movement area free.

Read floors and walkways, mechanisms and the known limits before testing a larger layout.
