Configuration and access
The Hytale 0.7 support branch has no player-facing configuration file, power requirements, bench tiers or upgrade modules. Install the mod and enable it for the intended world.
Ownership
The player placing a Foundry block becomes its owner. Doors, shutters, gates, hatches, lamps, beacons and entrance barriers allow any nearby player to operate them. This also applies to existing saved mechanisms. Only the placing owner can dismantle an assembly; using it does not transfer ownership. Crafting at the Foundry Workbench uses the native crafting interface; it is not an inventory container with configurable permissions. The original collection had player multiplayer testing. Shared expansion controls still await a real second-client playtest.
Elevator controls and panel linking are deferred. Older elevator records remain readable for compatibility and owner dismantling. There is no administrative ownership-transfer command in this preview.
World data
The mod saves ownership, occupied-cell reservations, control states and inert older-preview records in the world’s Foundry resource. Keep world and player files with their matching mod builds when making backups. The current reader preserves the earlier ownership/state format rather than resetting it.
No custom global key bindings or client settings are required. Use the game’s normal placement, rotation, removal and Use actions.
Audio
Original generated sounds use bounded spatial attenuation for mechanical actions. Retired elevator parts play no movement loop. Bench opening and closing use local interface sounds. This version has no separate mod volume slider; use Hytale’s sound controls. Earlier families had player listening checks. The new carton, masonry, brush, barrier and safety-sign cues remain pending native listening. Beacons have no continuous alarm.
The paint brush stores its selected pattern, erase mode and preview toggle on the held brush. Rotation uses the native building rotation control (default R). Road markings and mounted pallet cartons save with the world. A pallet carries at most three decorative cartons and is dismantled as one assembly, returning the pallet and its cartons.
The brush uses a local native placement preview. Close its palette and press R to rotate the whole stamp. The server checks every footprint tile before applying multi-block text. Erase affects one tile. Other players see accepted painted roads. New controls and sounds retain their recorded native and human acceptance gates.
